GENERAL FAQs
-
No, we only focus on tattoos It’s best to read reviews and connect with another shop in the region.
-
When asked about the most common wedding band tattoo, the answer is no. The skin on your fingers takes ink differently than most parts of the body. Due to the active nature of our hands, the frequency with which we wash our hands, the ink will “fall out” of the fleshy underpart of the finger. Quality is of the utmost importance for our artists.
-
In Wisconsin, the legal age to receive a tattoo is 18 years old. We cannot tattoo minors even with parental consent. Adults of any age must present a government-issued ID (like a driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport) in order to be tattooed, no exceptions.
-
No, To start, we don’t have a phone number. In order to stay organized and handle a high volume of requests, our artists use the shops email system and personal direct messaging for all booking individually. If you walk in and ask to schedule a consultation or appointment, we will ask you to contact an artist via email or the social media provided on their portfolio page. If we scheduled everyone who walked in, they would essentially be cutting in line ahead of everyone who is patiently waiting in our inboxes for a reply. Please submit your booking request form if you are interested in getting a tattoo at Ballroom ink.
-
Outside of our Apprentice Specials, we require an $80 shop minimum fee. All Ballroom Ink artists are trained to carefully place ink in the dermis with pinpoint precision as well as the correct needle size. Ink injected to deep, close or with to large of a gage will blur, thicken and fuz out severely. We do not undercalculate the importance of even the smallest tattoos. Each artist charges according by the piece or by session. Rates vary depending on the design.

FAQs FOR SETH
-
To obtain an appointment or consultation, please submit the required form. The forms are located on the contact page. I will also be posting information on my social media pages pertaining to appointment offerings, and projects I am currently working on.
-
Submitted forms will be reviewed by me. From there, I will decide whether or not to pursue that request. I am interested in projects that spark and fuel my creativity. Ones that are intriguing to me. Due to the high volume of requests received. Responding to every request is unlikely.
-
I am more likely to take on projects that are within my ability. I currently am comfortable with line work, solid black, and minimal shading. I also enjoy doing work that is considered more dark, traditional style. As well as Trippy, metaphysical art. I am looking to expand my comfort zones. So finding individuals that are trusting and willing to allow me to work in areas I do not have much experience in is definitely an interest of mine!
-
Due to restricted time and the large number of requests received. There is the possibility that I may be unable to take on your project. However, if I believe a project may be suitable for my coworker I may respond to your email with a referral to her.
-
I generally work on small, and medium sized projects. My prices are determined by the size of the design. The price of any work outside of the measurements listed below would be discussed via email. Rates I currently have are the following.
2in x 2in = $50.00
4in x 4in = $100.00
6in x 6in = $120.00
-
Completed designs for any scheduled appointments will be sent to individuals via email. Drawings will be sent prior to the appointment, mainly for the approval of the design. I provide pictures of the line work, as well as the finished design.
